Fast Affordable Voiceovers

MY FRIENDS SAY I HAVE A GREAT VOICE: Guess what? That doesn't matter anymore.  It's about how you communicate the message.

WHAT YOU CAN DO: Take acting classes.  I’m serious.  You need those skills to do this.  Be sure you’re committed to make the investment, because you’ll need a professionally produced demo including someone to direct you.  You’ll also be buying studio time at a good recording studio.  Figure a minimum of $500 to produce a demo – and that’s if you have previous experience.

THEN WHAT?: Then, you’ll need to get the demo into the hands of those folks responsible for potentially hiring you.  Then there are follow-up calls, and mailings, just to keep you top of mind.

DO YOU NEED YOUR OWN STUDIO? No.  But, as prices start to fall on electronic gear, and the technology of digital recording and editing becomes available to anyone, anyplace becomes a studio.  Just remember, though: cheap equipment will render cheap results.  To top it off, there are fine points to recording and mixing you'll need to learn.

CAN YOU LISTEN TO MY DEMO? Unless I know you personally, I'll have to decline that offer.  There are a lot of very talented voice coaches who can give you much better advice that I can.

WILL YOU HIRE ME? I do work with a select few voice talents, and singers. They are people I know and can count on.  They come to my studio so I can direct them.  If I cast an outside voice, it is with an agency I know and trust.  I am not looking for any unsolicited demo submissions at this time.
