QUALITY STANDS OUT...
Frankly, I always hated cassettes. In my business, though, they are a necessary evil because of their ease of handling.
The bane of cassettes has been the dual machines that let you make a dub of whatever for a friend. Then the friend makes a dub of the dub and so on and so on. Now, guess what that third or fourth generation dub will SOUND like. If you said "mud" you're correct!
The same goes for web graphics. Do you have a picture or a logo you're adding to your website? Don't scan a business card or letterhead; you'll get a "muddy dub". Digitizing only enhances a screened image. Use originals whenever possible, or get a professional graphics artist to help you. The investment is worth it.
The beauty of the Web is that we're all equal. A small business is able to create the same or better storefront as his largest corporate competition.
